Lisa's Whimsical Rainbow Forest Wedding!

Once upon a time... a little girl named Lisa fell in love with rainbows. As soon as she learned to draw, she copied the colorful rainbow mural on the church nursery wall. It was magic how the colors perfectly blended into each other to create the perfect rainbow. Throughout Lisa's childhood, her love for all things colorful grew, especially her first time seeing Rainbow Brite.

Lisa as Rainbow Brite

Fast forward to November of 2018 when Lisa got engaged to Jeremy and began planning the rainbow forest wedding of her dreams! She knew that she needed the perfect whimsical bohemian gown. Lisa and her friends visited a few shops, but finally found the perfect gown here at I Do Bridal.

The look was completed with a customized pair of off-the-shoulder straps to make her Stella York gown even more romantic. Her hair cascaded over her shoulders in beautiful loose curls from a colorful fresh flower crown that she got from Metropolitan Market. Lisa's bouquet fresh from the Puyallup Farmer's Market perfectly matches the jewel-tone color palette and is the perfect touch to really capture the organic and natural tone of the wedding.

Seven bridesmaids each wearing an infinity octopus-wrap dress by Coralie Beatrix in a different jewel tone to make a perfect rainbow. The colors contrast against the greens and earth-tones of the forest to really pop!

The groomsmen all wore light gray suits with a pop of color in the tie from Men's Warehouse. The gray is soft enough to accent the bright colors and still stand out against the forest background.

"We had the rainbow woodland wedding of our dreams on August 17, 2019 (coincidentally the 50th anniversary of Woodstock) underneath the towering trees of the LeMay Marymount Manor in Tacoma."

The reception was clearly a huge success, full of celebration and love! Lisa and Jeremy gave each guest a cup of colorful flower petals to throw into the air as they walk back down the aisle to create this perfect photo! The guests themselves fit perfectly into the colorful rainbow theme to add even more color to this perfect wedding!

Let's take a moment to let this next photo really sink in. Lisa and Jeremy had Sub-Zero Ice Cream in Federal Way provide fresh ice cream at their ceremony, who actually tossed a bowl of liquid nitrogen on the ground to create this dreamy fog effect! How amazing is that?

Congratulations to Lisa and Jeremy on your magical wedding day!
