Alyssa's Fall Seattle Wedding

Alyssa and Jameson have an unconventional story, but sometimes the best things happen at the most unexpected times in the most unexpected places. Alyssa worked at a local Mortgage company in Kirkland, owned by Jameson's 'pseudo dad,' Ernie.

Ernie knew that Alyssa and Jameson belonged together, so he and his son Robbie started planting the seed early and often, trying to force blossom this relationship over the course of 6 months. Both Alyssa and Jameson politely declined the offer to be set up because they were both happily single living their separate lives.

Yet, Ernie continued to stop at Alyssa's office each day to remind her, "I've got someone you need to meet, he's cute, he might be too good for you," while he threw some not-so-subtle hints at Jameson to ask Alyssa out. "If I beat you in this golf round, you have to take her on a date."

"Yes, this relationship began with a bet, however, Jameson feels it's important to note that he did in fact win that golf round against Ernie and pursued me on his own accord."

One Friday afternoon, Robbie called Alyssa out of the blue on her desk line and said, "Jameson will be at the office in 5 minutes. You better be ready." They met that day at the office, then Robbie, Jameson, Alyssa, and a fellow co-worker Katie headed to Cactus and spent the next few hours shooting tequila and breaking the ice.

Alyssa and Jameson had a Fall wedding on September 21st, 2019 in Capitol Hill's Sole Repair Shop. The wedding was intimate with 50 of their closest friends and family.

They spent the early afternoon taking photos at Volunteer Park and Chop House row - some of their favorite places in the city. The bridal party ate Dick's cheeseburgers ten minutes before the walk down the aisle.
