Gorgeous Gowns for Every Body!
These days we hear a lot of people talking about “plus size,” but at I Do Bridal we don’t have labels or categories for our brides. We have always committed to being size inclusive and finding the most figure flattering gowns for our customers.
The first rule for selecting the perfect gown for your curves is… there are no rules! We like to focus instead on what features you most want to accentuate and flatter in your dress.
The question you need to ask yourself is what makes you feel comfortable and confident? It’s a delicate balance: you want to feel like yourself on your big day without playing it too safe. Think about dress styles and aesthetics that make you feel like the best version of yourself—elegant and sophisticated, but still true to your individual personality. Clues like these help you find a dress that fits your body type, personal style, and vision for your big day.
We can walk you through letting go of many insecurities and help you listen to feedback from close friends and family who support you. Every bride scrutinizes their own bodies. It's hard not to pick yourself apart when you're nervous, but we are here to help you highlight and accentuate your favorite parts of you! It’s important to find a dress that fits your personality and preferences, but don’t let your inner critic take over in the process. We're willing to bet everything that you're the only one who sees any "imperfections." Your friends and family, especially your fiancé, sees you for the gorgeous bride you are!
Our upcoming Maggie Curves Event is a fan favorite opportunity for our brides sizes 16+. Featuring gowns that are exclusive to Maggie Sottero’s magical fit for curves styles. We wanted to tell you all about them! Every gown in size 16+ has additional boning added into the bodice to accentuate your waistline and give extra bust support. The bust cups inside the gown go from a B to a C giving a little additional room for the girls too. When searching through the gowns from Maggie Sottero, Sottero & Midgley, or Rebecca Ingram lines be sure to check out any with the “Lynette” surname. These styles are specially modified to give a fantastic fit to flatter in all the right places. We love so many things about this amazing designer. They have the same commitment to inclusiveness and diversity as our store does. Our favorite curve dresses from them have graced runways near and far on the glamorous “Project Runway” winner Liris Cross, whom we adore.
