It's our anniversary!

I Do Bridal celebrates 22 amazing years of excellent service and helping brides from all walks of life find the perfect gown! We have grown considerably over the years into the shop we know and love today. Our goal here at I Do Bridal is to make each bride feel beautiful, happy, and unique and we will be here to do that for years to come!

In honor of our 22nd anniversary, I asked our amazing leader and founder of I Do Bridal, Robin Garrison, some questions about her journey in the bridal industry!

What do you love the most about working in your store?

*I love the opportunity to work one on one with brides and their loved ones. Every wedding is so different and a reflection of them as a woman. There is truly no feeling like the one that you get from finding the perfect dress for them to celebrate their big day in!

What inspired you to start a wedding dress store?

*It happened almost by accident. I finished my degree in fashion design from WSU and was working for Nordstrom. I had been making custom accessories for friends that were getting married and it turned into a good side business. My then boyfriend (now husband) encouraged me to take a chance and open a small boutique with my designs. It wasn’t long before we added dresses and expanded several times before we purchased and settled into our building here in Greenwood.

Tell me a bride's love story that stood out to you.

*One of our brides worked a nanny. She had come home from work for the day and parked and gone into her place. About 10 minutes later there was a knock on the door and a cute fire fighter was standing there. Her car has started smoking and caught on fire after she had gone inside. They got it put out but her car wasn’t drivable. The next morning he showed up again with flowers and keys to his extra car for her to use while she figured out what to do about her car. She felt that fate had truly brought them together!
